Jewellery Professional Practice Studio Development 3 Hour Sessions

Advanced Jewellery Professional Practice Sessions

My private sessions are designed for jewellery makers with an established skill base who want to refine their making practice, develop a cohesive body of work, and take considered steps toward exhibiting and/or selling their work.

Working one-to-one at the bench, you’ll receive tailored guidance on technical development, design direction, and the growth of your jewellery practice. Sessions are shaped around your individual goals and include focused discussion of your work, with support for skill refinement and developing a cohesive body of work.

For those wishing to sell their jewellery, sessions can also support you in preparing a body of work for sale, developing pricing structures, approaching stockists, and navigating private sales, as well as retail and gallery settings.

Who these sessions are for

Studio Development Sessions are best suited to makers with prior jewellery-making experience who are seeking thoughtful, constructive guidance rather than introductory instruction. If you’re unsure whether this offering is the right fit, you’re very welcome to get in touch to discuss your experience and goals.

Session structure

Sessions are tailored to your needs and can be structured as a single intensive session or as an ongoing series, depending on your goals and stage of practice

About me

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Jewellery & Object Design (Design Centre Enmore, TAFE NSW) and a Diploma of Gemmology from the Gemmological Association of Australia.

With over 20 years of professional experience in jewellery making, teaching, and exhibiting and selling my work, I bring a broad and practical perspective to the studio. I’ve taught both private and group classes, worked closely with makers to present and sell their work, and sold my own jewellery through direct sales, retail stores, and gallery spaces.

This breadth of experience informs the guidance I offer—supporting you to refine your craftsmanship, strengthen your creative direction, and make informed decisions about how and where you share your work.

My workshop is fully equipped for advanced processes including soldering, wax carving, stone setting, and sandcasting, and is supported by appropriate extraction and safety systems for safe studio practice.
